Of the 10 fingers, some are long and some are short.

有的人这样说，有的人那样说。

Some say one thing, some say another.

yǒu de dòng wù bù xǐ huan zhè ge

有的动物不喜欢这个。

Some animals don't like this.

yǒu de hái zi tè bié ài kàn diàn shì

有的孩子特别爱看电视。

Some children are crazy about TV.

Some are in favour of it, some are against it.

Sometimes the weather forecast is accurate, sometimes not.
