    1."因为" is different from "由于". "由于" is mostly used as a conjunction in written language and is often used with "所以", "因此", and "因而"; "因为" is mostly used in spoken language, and cannot be used with "因此" or "因而", etc. 2."因为" is different from the usage of "为了". "因为" means the reason; "为了" means the purpose.
