大我

xiǎo wǒ yīng gāi fú cóng dà wǒ

小我应该服从大我。

Individual interests should be subordinate to collective interests.

xī shēng xiǎo wǒ de lì yì wéi hù dà wǒ de lì yì

牺牲小我的利益，维护大我的利益

sacrifice one's individual benefit for the sake of the collective

wǒ men bù néng yīn wèi xiǎo wǒ jiù hū lüè dà wǒ

我们不能因为小我就忽略大我。

We can't ignore the collective because of ourselves.
