nǐ míng zhī tā bù yuàn yì cān jiā wèi shén me hái zhǎo tā

你明知他不愿意参加，为什么还找他？

You knew quite well that he did not want to join you, but why did you make the appointment with him?

tā míng zhī hē jiǔ duì tā méi yǒu hǎo chu kě shì hái yào hē

他明知喝酒对他没有好处，可是还要喝。

It was not good for him to take any wine, but he drank with his eyes open.

nǐ míng zhī zì jǐ cuò le

你明知自己错了！

You're wrong, and what's more you know it!

zhè xiē yā tou míng zhī bǎo yù jiǎng jiu zhè xiē

这些丫头明知宝玉讲究这些。

The maids knew quite well that Baoyu would mind.
