    "以至" is different from "以致". "以至" contains the meaning of "甚至", and the connected result is mostly the continuation or deepening of the situation stated in the above words or clauses, which can be good or bad; "以致" contains "to cause" which means that many connections are bad or undesirable results of the speaker.
